Daddy got to have his first cuddle tonight. Sadie was pretty relaxed, but eventually she started to cry like a tiny kitten, so we put her back in her Isolette. Speaking of which, she got a new home tonight. The NICU only has 8 of the fancy Isolettes, which apparently cost $80,000 each and they reserve these for high risk babies. Because Sadie is doing so well, they gave her a new, less fancy Isolette tonight. She doesn't seem to mind her new home, and I'm sure she loves the Tigger, Piglet and Pooh Bear blanket they gave her today! Just before we left tonight, the nurse weighed her in at 796 g, which isn't a huge increase from yesterday, but we'll take it! Her feeds have once again increased to 3mL every 2 hours so she will hopefully hit the 800g mark tomorrow. Stay tuned!
Hello Greg, I'm looking at that protective hand that you have on your new daughter and thinking that this little chiclet will have a much harder time when she's a teenager convincing her parents that she's now big enough to go out with boys!

Lot's of ove, Aunty Janet
I'm so proud of you both. Raising a new baby is big work, and especially when you have a very small baby. I wish you a wonderful month as you get to know each other a bit. :)
